Product description
This exquisite set of three IVIMA opaline glass pieces from the 1940s showcases the timeless elegance of Portuguese glassmaking from Marinha Grande, the heart of Portugal’s glass industry. The collection includes one white opaline glass vase and two matching glass boxes, both featuring striking black glass handles that create a refined contrast typical of Scandinavian-inspired design. Each piece bears the original IVIMA stamp, attesting to its authenticity and craftsmanship. Made from smooth, milky white opaline glass, these pieces reflect light beautifully, exuding a minimalist charm that complements both vintage and modern interiors. The vase stands gracefully, perfect for displaying flowers or as a statement piece, while the glass boxes offer elegant storage for jewelry, small keepsakes, or decorative accents. Produced in Marinha Grande, a city renowned for its centuries-old glassmaking tradition, these items embody Portugal’s artistic and industrial excellence. IVIMA was a leading name in Portuguese glass during the 20th century, known for blending craftsmanship with innovation. All three pieces are in original and good condition, with only a tiny chip on the flower vase, making them a rare and desirable addition to any vintage glassware collection or mid-century modern décor enthusiast’s home. Dimensions: Vase: Diameter 7,5 cm Height: 16 cm Tall Box: Diameter 9,5 cm Height: 22,5 cm Small Box: Diameter 13 cm Height: 18 cm Material: Glass, opaline glass
