Product description
A vintage Italian dining chair set in lacquered wood and woven paper cord, made by Snaidero and produced in Italy during the 1970s. The chairs feature slim geometric frames, softly curved open backrests, woven natural cord seats, warm honey-brown wood tones, and a refined rustic modern Italian design language, making them a strong fit for dining spaces, kitchen interiors, farmhouse tables, and collected vintage interiors.
With their light proportions, open back construction, tactile paper cord seats, and warm lacquered finish, this set brings texture, rhythm, and quiet Italian character to a interior. The curved backrest detail softens the clean architectural frame, while the woven cord seats add natural texture and an honest handcrafted feel. Their compact dimensions and warm material presence give the set an understated, timeless quality.
Snaidero was founded by Rino Snaidero in Majano, in the Friuli region of Italy, in 1946. The company started as a small furniture workshop and became especially known for Italian kitchen and modular furniture design from the post-war period onward. During the 1960s and 1970s, Snaidero became part of Italy’s wider modern furniture movement, where functional domestic pieces were designed with a focus on craftsmanship, practicality, and warm material expression.
