Product description
This vintage Italian design side table from the 1970s exemplifies the functional elegance of the era. The piece features a striking architectural silhouette, combining industrial materials with a refined aesthetic that is characteristic of late mid-century Italian modernism.
Constructed with a sleek chrome central column, the table rests on a four-star base equipped with practical casters for effortless mobility. The rectangular top is crafted from smoked glass, supported by a distinctive cross-shaped bracket that adds both structural integrity and visual interest. The interplay between the polished silver-toned metal, the dark plastic accents, and the transparent glass creates a sophisticated chromatic balance. Produced in Italy during the 1970s, the design reflects the period's fascination with versatile, space-age forms. In height adjustable up to 90 cm.
The table remains in highly commendable condition, preserving its original structural integrity and aesthetic appeal. The chrome finish retains its characteristic luster, while the glass top exhibits the authentic character expected from a carefully preserved piece of this vintage. The casters function smoothly, ensuring the table remains as practical today as it was upon its initial release.
This versatile side table serves as an exceptional addition to both contemporary and retro-inspired interiors. Its mobile design makes it an ideal companion beside a lounge chair or sofa, offering a functional surface that seamlessly integrates into a sophisticated living space or home office.
