Product description
This is a vintage chest of drawers, originating from Italy in the 1980s. The piece is defined by its strong silhouette, which combines rounded corners with a rich wood finish and distinctive metallic accents, characteristic of the era's design ethos.
The construction features a wood - MDF body with a deep brown finish, resting on a recessed plinth base made of brushed aluminium. It offers practical storage with four spacious drawers, each fitted with sculptural, wave-like pulls that are also crafted from brushed aluminium. The design reflects the Postmodern sensibilities prevalent in Italian furniture during the 1980s, emphasizing bold forms and a mix of materials.
The piece retains its original structure and hardware, presenting an authentic example of its period.
With its compact footprint, this piece is well-suited for a bedroom, hallway, or living area, providing storage without occupying excessive space. It would integrate seamlessly into an interior with a focus on vintage, Postmodern, or eclectic design elements.
