Product description
With its hand-painted decoration and elegantly crafted handle, this ceramic pitcher from Bassano is a beautiful example of Italian workshop craftsmanship. Made of glazed ceramic, it is adorned with large flowers in shades of yellow, ochre, brown, and green. Its sculpted handle with scrolling details, its gently curved spout, and its molded reliefs give it an elegant look typical of Italian production from the 1960s to 1980s. The pitcher is signed on the bottom, attesting to its origin. The piece is in good condition. Note a few small, discreet chips on the base, visible in the photos, which do not detract from its use or its charm. It could be repurposed as a vase for a large bouquet of wildflowers or simply displayed on a kitchen shelf, a farmhouse table, or an antique sideboard. A handcrafted piece that is as striking empty as it is filled with a bouquet.
