About this seller
Private sellerProduct description
Absolute cult object for design lovers and vintage collectors!
I am selling the rare vintage rocking chair "Axvall" from the legendary IKEA PS Collection (designed in the late 1990s by the renowned Danish designer Niels Gammelgaard).
This model in a minimalist Space Age design has long been a sought-after classic and is no longer available in stores.
Special feature of this item:
It is the rare and coveted olive green version! The original, elastic covering made of olive green bungee cords is completely preserved (appears very dark depending on the light). The metal frame was originally also green and was repainted white over the years - perfect for anyone who likes it minimalist, or as an ideal project to restore it completely to its original green condition.
• Designer: Niels Gammelgaard
• Model: Axvall (IKEA PS Collection)
• Condition: Good vintage condition with age-related signs of wear on the frame (see pictures). The covering is original, intact and comfortable.
• Dimensions (approx.): Seat shell diameter approx. 100 cm
Shipping & Collection:
• Self-collection only by arrangement.
• Alternatively: Shipping possible on request if the buyer organizes the transport himself (e.g., by a forwarding agent).
As this is a private sale, the sale is made without any warranty, guarantee or right of return.
