About this seller
Private sellerProduct description
Beautiful and rare vintage IKEA KÄMPE design cabinet from 1997 (prototype from 1999), designed by the renowned designer Niels Gammelgaard. This iconic floor model has two high-gloss red doors at the bottom and two unique glass doors at the top with the original slide/tilt system. Perfectly suited for a Space Age, retro or Memphis Group style interior.
The cabinet is in excellent vintage condition: the red plastic is still fully vibrant in color (no discoloration from the sun) and the original IKEA sticker is still on the back. An absolute collector's item!
The only damage is that a small piece of plastic has broken off, making one of the four doors more difficult to close.
When the flap is closed or fully open, there is nothing to see.
