Product description
Special vintage design sculpture Two Become One, designed by the Swedish designer Louise Hederström for IKEA in the nineties. The sculpture is made of black metal and shows two highly stylized, elongated human figures standing close together, forming a single unit. The sculpture has a minimalist, postmodern design with slender, openwork forms and a round base. This is an older IKEA design that is no longer in production. The sculpture is 43 cm high. The round base has a diameter of 10 cm and is felted on the underside. The figures together are approximately 5 cm wide and 2.5 cm deep. The sculpture is otherwise in good condition. There are some small damages to the base where pieces of the finish have broken off. These have been carefully touched up to make them as inconspicuous as possible. Additionally, the sculpture leans slightly forward. This can presumably be carefully straightened. The damages and touched-up areas are visible in the detailed photos.
