Private sellerProduct description
Here is a vintage Desk lamp produced for IKEA in the 1980s, a piece that embodies the functional design of that era. This model, often associated with the Danish manufacturer Abo Randers, stands out for its sleek silhouette and minimalist construction.
The lamp is entirely made of metal with a shiny chrome finish, resting on a stable square base. Its articulated arm and adjustable lamp head allow for precise light direction, offering great flexibility of use. The design is both simple and technical, characteristic of Scandinavian style and late 20th-century industrial design.
Preserved in excellent vintage condition, this lamp is perfectly functional and retains its original luster. The chrome finish is well-preserved, testifying to careful maintenance over the decades. It represents a fine example of the democratic and sustainable design promoted by IKEA.
Ideal as a work lamp on a desk, a reading lamp near an armchair, or as an accent light in a modern, minimalist, or retro-inspired interior. Its discreet presence and timeless aesthetic allow it to integrate harmoniously into various decorative contexts.
