An expressive vintage vase made of heavy, clear glass, presumably from German production of the 1960s or 1970s. The strongly textured surface is reminiscent of frozen water, melting ice, or rough tree bark. Light refracts in the irregular structures, making the vase appear slightly different from every angle. It looks particularly beautiful by a window or with a single branch or a few long-stemmed flowers. The shape and distinctive ice glass structure show clear similarities with vases from Georgshütte, which are sometimes referred to as "Arktis" in trade. Since there is no manufacturer's mark, the attribution is made cautiously. The solid glass gives the vase a stable stand. The irregularly shaped upper rim and the dynamic surface are part of the characteristic design. There is a small chip on the upper rim, which is clearly shown in the last photo. There are also age-related signs of wear and fine scratches on the bottom. No cracks.
