This original highboard with Display cabinets is from the 1960s. It consists of one component and was originally the upper part of a living room cupboard. Instead of the base cabinet, we have attached modern hairpin legs in Gold .
The surfaces are finished with Makoré (African pear tree) and birch, the fronts are additionally polished. The applications of the locks are made of Messing . Golden decorative strips bring additional shine to the Furniture horizontally and vertically . Two keys are included.
The upper unit features a central Display cabinets with two sliding Glass doors and gold trimmings. The back wall is covered with a washable Textile with a floral pattern in dove blue and is finished with decorative nails and a cord. The Display cabinets includes two Glass shelves.
There is storage space behind the right and left swing door, which is divided by two Wood inserts.
Little history:
We discovered the Furniture in the Spreewald. On a farm in the 1960s, it was part of the initial equipment of a young married couple. In the village of Müschen near Burg, they both farmed for many decades.

Condition:
The piece of furniture is basically stable, functional and has no damage. There are signs of use. There is a crack line in the paintwork on the right side of the door.
Processing:
The Furniture has been thoroughly cleaned. We clean and treat the wooden surfaces intensively with specially cleaned linseed oil in connection with an odorless and residue-free hydrocarbon solvent. This method is recommended by restorers.
