Striking vintage office swivel chair from the 1970s with black leather upholstery and solid aluminum construction.
The design and constructive details very clearly correspond to the well-known Supporto Chair, designed in 1976 by Frederick Scott for Hille International. Particularly characteristic are the high backrest, the aluminum shell of the back section, the open aluminum armrests, and the 5-star base.
A clear manufacturer identification from Hille is no longer present on this item or could not be found. Therefore, the chair is explicitly offered without a secured manufacturer attribution. The gas spring bears a STABILUS marking.
The chair is in authentic, age-appropriate used vintage condition. The aluminum shows patina and signs of wear, and the leather also shows age-related traces and a minor damage in the front area of the seat. The condition is documented in the pictures.
