Beautiful and highly distinctive Herda Space Age pendant lamp from the 1970s, featuring a large amber/smoked-brown globe shade with elegant chrome and aluminium details.
The combination of the deep amber colour, futuristic spherical shape, layered metal interior and original black spiral cord gives this lamp a striking Space Age character. A wonderful example of Dutch lighting design from the 1960s/70s.
The lamp makes a strong decorative statement both switched on and off, and would work beautifully in a vintage, Mid-Century Modern or eclectic interior.
