Product description
A vintage Italian Pendant lamp from the mid-20th century, made of brass and opal glass. The design is characteristic of the Space Age period, with a dynamic, Sputnik-like structure that immediately draws attention.
The fixture consists of a central brass core from which 9 arms extend in a star-shaped configuration. Each arm is topped with a spherical shade of white opal glass, which provides a soft and diffuse light distribution. Produced in Italy during the 1950s or 1960s, this lamp reflects the fascination of that era with space travel and geometric shapes.
The lamp is in good vintage condition, retaining its original components. The brass has developed a subtle and authentic patina over the years, contributing to the character and historical value of the piece. The glass spheres are intact and free of cracks or chips, but are slightly weathered.
The pendant can optionally be extended upon request; the wiring allows for approximately 80cm of extra length.
This chandelier is a statement piece that fits perfectly above a dining table or as a central light fixture in a living room.
