Product description
This handcrafted casket from the Mid-Century era originates from Italy and embodies the characteristic elegance of the 1970s. The square design impresses with the use of solid travertine, whose natural porosity and warm coloring give the object a timeless aesthetic.
The construction combines the light natural stone with a surrounding brass hinge and frame, creating an appealing material contrast. The inside is also made of untreated travertine, which emphasizes the craftsmanship and authenticity of the piece. The casket is a typical example of Italian design from this era, which combined natural materials with clear, geometric forms.
The object is in good vintage condition and retains its original charm. There is a small chip on one of the front corners. The natural patina of the brass and the characteristic structure of the travertine bear witness to the history and careful handling of this piece.
As a decorative element, this casket fits perfectly into modern, minimalist, or Mid-Century inspired interiors. It is ideal for storing jewelry or small treasures on a console, coffee table, or bedside table.
