Product description
This interesting small horse is made in a Scandinavian folk art style from the mid-20th century. It is hand-carved from wood, and its most striking feature is the horse's curved neck and the fact that its tail, hooves, and nose all rest on the surface on which you place it. Although it has that mid-century modern (1950s-70s) look, I'm not sure if it dates from that period. It could be a more modern piece made in that style. It is probably also a hobby work, inspired by the wooden horse sculptures of the Swedish artist Harry Bergman from the 1960s. Height: 6.5 centimeters Width: 2 centimeters Length: 14 centimeters
