Product description
This hand-painted wall plate originates from Porches, Portugal, a region known for its rich tradition in ceramics. The plate features a detailed, figurative depiction of an animal, surrounded by floral motifs in a characteristic green and white color palette.
Crafted from ceramic, this decorative object is signed 'Porches 85' on the back, indicating its origin and year of production. The plate is equipped with a metal hanging system, allowing it to be mounted directly to the wall. The combination of green tones on a light background gives the piece a fresh and authentic appearance.
The wall plate is in good condition, commensurate with its age and material. The glaze shows slight crazing, which contributes to the object's vintage character. The hanging system is intact and functional.
This Portuguese wall plate looks excellent in a country or Mediterranean-inspired interior. It can serve as a striking accent in a kitchen, dining room, or hallway, and combines well with other ceramic objects or natural materials.
