Beautiful mid-century German swivel chair by Hailo, with the recognizable blue-and-white Werkskontrolle label still intact under the seat. Typical 1950s/60s industrial design: a slender chrome-plated four-legged star frame with plastic foot caps, and a floating seat and backrest on chrome spring stems; a silhouette that would not look out of place in a Prouvé or Friso Kramer setting, but with the solid German signature of Hailo.
Both the seat and backrest are height-adjustable, as is appropriate for this type of architect's chair.
In good vintage condition with normal signs of use. The black faux leather is intact (no tears or wear marks), and the chrome is bright and in good condition. Everything is sturdy and stable.
