About this seller
Private sellerProduct description
This is a vintage table lamp, released as a promotional item for the Dutch beer brand Grolsch. The object is a characteristic example of branded merchandise from the late 20th century, recognizable by the iconic red Grolsch logo on the shade.
The lamp consists of a plastic shade in white and red, mounted on a minimalist frame of gray metal wire. The shade has a spherical design that directs the light downwards, providing atmospheric, focused lighting. This type of lamp was often produced in the 70s and 80s and is a typical Dutch design object from that period.
The lamp is in good, working vintage condition, with a character appropriate for its age. The original wiring is present and functional, as can be seen in the images. The overall construction is solid and the colors are still vibrant.
This Grolsch lamp is a decorative accent that fits well into a retro or eclectic interior. It is an ideal collector's item for lovers of vintage advertising expressions or can serve as a playful light source in a bar, study, or mancave.
