Iconic 'Mushroom' lamp from the German quality brand Graewe Leuchten.
This sought-after model 4475 is a beautiful example of Space Age design from West Germany.
The lamp stands out due to its clever and contrasting use of materials. The stepped plastic base is finished in a stylish cream/white shade with chrome ring accents. On top rests a generous glass shade with a two-part texture: a perfectly matted/satin-finished middle section that softly filters the light, flanked by clear, vertically ribbed ice glass edges at the top and bottom.
This creates an incredibly diffuse and warm refraction pattern in the room when the lamp is lit.
A beautiful, authentic object that has become rare in this condition and fits perfectly on a sideboard or bedside table. The original factory sticker is still on the underside.
