Product description
Vintage vase in glazed ceramic, from Central Europe. It is a piece of folk pottery from the mid-20th century.
Hand-painted folk ceramics were produced in Central Europe for domestic use and for the decoration of the home.
Ovoid in body with a flared mouth, it is glazed in dark brown. A polychrome floral decoration in cream, green, blue and pink covers the body, and colored bands and a yellow wavy line mark the neck and the base.
The brown glaze keeps a deep sheen, with light signs of use.
On a table or a sideboard, it works as a vase and adds color.
