Product description
Vintage two-handled pot in glazed ceramic, from Central Europe. It is a piece of folk pottery from the mid-20th century.
Two-handled pots were intended for the kitchen and the pantry.
Globular in body with two ribbon handles, it is glazed in deep blue. A yellow wavy line and a polychrome floral decoration in yellow, red, green and cream run around the body; the interior shows the red clay.
The blue glaze keeps a strong sheen, with light signs of use.
In a kitchen or on a shelf, it works as a decorative container or a fruit bowl.
