This round plate in colorful glazed ceramic was designed and produced by Roland Brice in the 1950s at his workshop in Biot, a small town near Vallauris in southern France. Roland Brice was a former student of Fernand Léger. He became his close friend and ceramist from 1949, producing numerous pieces in his Biot studio until the late 1960s, while exploring his own creations, inspired by Fernand Léger's work. This collector's item is in perfect condition.
