This vintage table lamp, produced in Germany during the 1950s, exemplifies the refined craftsmanship of mid-century European lighting design. The piece features a distinct spherical glass shade that diffuses light softly, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere characteristic of the era's aesthetic. The lamp is constructed with a solid brass base, intricately engraved with geometric and floral motifs that highlight the artisanal attention to detail. The base is supported by three elegantly cast feet, adding stability and a touch of classical influence to the design. The spherical shade is made of opaque yellow glass, providing a striking contrast to the polished brass. The fixture retains its original wiring, reflecting its authentic mid-century origins. In good vintage condition, the lamp displays a natural patina on the brass base, consistent with its age and history. The glass shade remains intact, preserving the lamp's original character and functionality. This table lamp serves as a sophisticated accent piece, well-suited for a desk, bedside table, or console. Its blend of engraved brass and coloured glass complements both mid-century modern interiors and eclectic, vintage-inspired spaces.
