Product description
Vintage glass candle holder by Gallo, a piece that embodies the aesthetics of the 1970s. The object is known as the 'Fire and Ice' model, a name that perfectly describes the unique texture of the glass.
The holder is made of thick, clear glass with a hammered, ice-like finish that refracts and reflects light in a special way. The design has an organic, flower-shaped structure with six holders arranged around a central point. This multifunctional object can serve as an atmospheric candle holder, as a rechaud to keep a small pot warm, or as a decorative pedestal for a small work of art. The original sticker with the text "Gallo Glas Kunstvoll Gestaltet" is still present, confirming its German origin.
The overall condition of this vintage item is excellent, retaining the clarity and detailed texture of the glass. The piece shows character appropriate for its age, without significant signs of use, and the original brand sticker is proof of careful preservation throughout the years.
This candle holder is a subtle yet distinctive addition to various interior styles, from Mid-Century Modern to contemporary. It creates a warm and diffused light and functions both as a practical lighting object and as a sculptural decorative element on a side table, dresser, or dining table.
Weight 1420 grams.
