A beautiful, extremely rare set of two original Series 7 Butterfly chairs, designed by Arne Jacobsen for Fritz Hansen. This is a sought-after, fully authentic version from the 1970s in the color 'Light Blue Ash' (light blue-colored ash). Thanks to this specific finish, the characteristic, organic wood grain of the ash is beautifully visible and palpable beneath the original lacquer layer. The chairs are in pristine vintage condition and excel in authenticity. They feature the historically correct 1970s dimensions with Jacobsen's characteristic ergonomic 'bucket tilt', which translates to a seat height of exactly 44 cm at the side that flows smoothly to 42 cm at the front. At the bottom, the high-quality chrome base is fitted with the original hard plastic covers in the authentic beige/cream color. The seat shells are structurally sound and still offer the iconic, comfortable, and supple suspension in the backrest.
