Private sellerProduct description
This is a set of two vintage pendant lamps by the Danish manufacturer Fog & Mørup. This model, known as the 'Trompet', is a classic example of mid-20th century Scandinavian design, appreciated for its elegant and sculptural silhouette. The lamps are made of white lacquered metal, which provides bright and diffuse light distribution. The conical shape, which widens into a broad shade, is characteristic of the minimalist aesthetic of that period. These fixtures are designed to cast a focused, yet soft light downwards, ideal for above a dining table or in a seating area. Production in Denmark guarantees the high quality associated with Mid-Century lighting. The overall condition of the set is good and consistent with its age and use. The lamps retain their original finish and structural integrity, contributing to their authentic vintage character. The original wiring is present, which underscores the historical value of the pieces. This set of pendant lamps fits perfectly into an interior with a preference for Scandinavian or Mid-Century Modern design. As a pair, they create a symmetrical and calm image, for example above an elongated table or a kitchen island, adding a touch of Danish design history to the space. One of the lamps has a small dent, otherwise in neat vintage condition.
