Vintage Floral Oil Painting – Signed LB 77 – 1970s
Original oil painting on wooden panel depicting a colorful bouquet of flowers arranged in a blue vase.
Signed LB and dated 1977 at the lower left, this charming floral still life features generous impasto and expressive palette knife work, creating a richly textured, almost sculptural surface.
The soft palette combines dusty blue, pastel pink, cream, muted yellow and green, beautifully complemented by the warm tones of the substantial wooden frame.
Its spontaneous composition and thick, expressive brushwork evoke Impressionist-inspired floral painting, with a distinctive 1970s decorative character.
An attractive piece for a vintage, eclectic, bohemian or Mediterranean-inspired interior.
