Magnificent free-form trinket dish or ashtray
in authentic art enamel on copper, typical of
modernist creations from the 1960s and 70s.
This collector's item features an elegant fish silhouette.
It is distinguished by its vibrant enamel with striking contrasts,
blending bursts of ultramarine blue, emerald green,
saffron yellow, and fuchsia pink that blend together to beautifully capture the light. The reverse reveals the original patina
and the raw beauty of the hand-hammered copper.
An authentic mid-century art object displaying
a discreet chip in the old enamel at the tip of the tail (please
see photos), attesting to its history and authenticity.
