Vintage Jasba Fat Lava Vase, Orange and Brown Glazed Ceramic with Central a Dark Fat Lava Band, West Germany Ceramics from the Years 60-70, This Vase is Numbered 0201024 at the bottom.
West Germany was actually a collective name for ceramics that appeared on the market roughly between 1950 and 1990. Some Famous Names include Roth, Carstens, Ruscha, Jopeko, Jasba, Fohr, But the Biggest Were Perhaps Scheurich and Bay.
The Name Jasba is composed of the first letters of the Founder's first and last name: Jakob Schwaderlapp, as well as that of the town where the factory originated: Baumbach.
