Striking vintage 'eyeball' table lamp from the Space Age period, 1970s. The spherical shade in glossy green lacquered metal is adjustable within the chrome-plated tubular frame, allowing the light to be directed — just like the iconic eyeball lamps of that era. The round, sleekly designed base in chrome-plated metal reinforces the futuristic character of this design.
Maker cannot be determined with certainty (no brand stamp present), but a fine example of typical Space Age design from the 1970s.
**Condition:** The lamp works well. Light signs of use on the lacquer of the globe (small scratches), consistent with its age. The chrome-plated frame is in neat condition.
