Original Ny-Mag H.63 table lamp by ABO Randers, designed by Hans Jørgen Berthel for the Danish manufacturer. This design dates back to the 1960s and is one of the characteristic Scandinavian Space Age lamps of that era.
The compact lamp features a spherical, lacquered metal shade that sits atop the base and can be adjusted to direct the light. Characteristic of this version is the vibrant, high-gloss red lacquer finish combined with the dark gray front reflector and the circularly arranged openings.
This lamp bears both the original ABO "Made in Denmark" label with the type designation H.63 and the "Metal Kunst Randers Danmark" marking on the base.
The lamp is in good original vintage condition. The red lacquer retains its overall glossy finish. Minor scratches, paint chips, and signs of wear consistent with age and use are present and are documented in the photographs.
