A splendid collectible box in wood and art enamels on copper,
created by the Spanish modernist workshop Capo Esmaltes (1970s).
The removable copper lid showcases masterful enameling work
with bursts of cobalt blue, ruby red, and opaline white, while
its reverse side reveals the raw texture of the hand-hammered metal.
The blackened wood structure is elegantly punctuated on its sides
by matching enameled discs.
This authentic mid-century piece displays slight enamel chips
in places, subtle imperfections from the artisanal firing process that attest
to its history and authenticity.
