Charming vintage napkin pouch made of ecru fabric, entirely adorned with thread embroidery, in the spirit of traditional mid-20th century household linen. The flap is embroidered with the inscription « Bon Appétit » in a lovely orange thread, accompanied by a fruit design. Strawberry, grape, citrus, and pear, accented with green foliage. A delicate blue border frames the whole and adds a particularly fresh touch to this charming, naive embroidery. These pouches were formerly used to store each guest's napkin between meals. A small everyday object that has today become a delightful testament to the table arts and household linens of yesteryear.
