Product description
This is a vintage stool, made of oak wood and dating from the 1960s. The design shows strong stylistic similarities to the work of the influential French modernist Charlotte Perriand, known for her rustic and functional furniture.
The stool is entirely made of solid oak, which is evident from the rich and visible grain structure. The furniture has a warm, brown finish that accentuates the natural texture of the wood. The construction consists of an organically shaped seat resting on three diagonally placed, tapered legs, a characteristic of this type of brutalist design.
The object is in good vintage condition, with a patina consistent with its age and use over the years. The structural integrity has been preserved and the wood has a characteristic appearance that tells the story of the furniture.
Thanks to its compact and versatile design, this stool can serve as an extra seat, as a side table next to an armchair, or as a decorative object. It fits seamlessly into an interior with a Mid-Century Modern, rustic, or Scandinavian decor.
