Product description
Here is a table lamp by the German manufacturer Doria, dating from the Space Age era. This model stands out with its large bubble glass globe and sculptural internal structure, characteristic of 1970s lighting design.
The lamp consists of a cylindrical chrome-plated metal base supporting a large spherical globe made of textured transparent glass. Inside the globe, a multi-branched polished chrome structure holds several bulbs, creating a complex visual effect and multi-directional light diffusion. This construction is emblematic of Doria Leuchten's production, renowned for its high-quality glass luminaires.
The overall condition of this vintage piece is excellent, showing particular care over the decades. The chrome retains its original luster and the glass globe is intact, preserving the authentic character of the lamp. The wiring appears to be in good working order.
This large lamp makes an an ideal centerpiece for a sideboard, console, or large side table. Its bold design integrates perfectly into Mid-Century Modern, Space Age, or eclectic interiors, where it will bring a touch of sophistication and warm ambient lighting.
