Charlotte Perriand was a renowned French architect and designer, best known for her modernist furniture and innovative approach to interior design. She collaborated with Le Corbusier and Pierre Jeanneret in the early 20th century, helping to shape modernist aesthetics. One of her most famous projects is the Les Arcs resort in the French Alps, where she designed functional, minimalist furniture tailored for ski lodges. The Les Arcs chairs and tables, often made of tubular steel and leather, remain iconic pieces of mid-century modern design.
