Product description
Essential elegance takes shape in this vintage 1970s Crassevig rocking chair, where curved oak wood meets the fresh, tactile texture of woven white fabric straps. Its sinuous, minimalist frame perfectly embodies the Italian design ethos, blending aesthetic grace with effortless functionality. Fully restored with careful attention to the original, it retains its authenticity, down to the Crassevig logo fire-branded into the wood. Norma patina on fabric surface, it has been cleaned and sanitized. The chair is sturdy and ready to use
Clean, harmonious lines express a quiet yet confident elegance, making it ideal for contemporary interiors or for adding a refined touch to more classic settings. A seat that speaks the language of time, with a subtle, sophisticated style that nods to Nordic design.
Care & Maintenance Guide
Clean the wooden frame using a soft, dry microfiber cloth to prevent dust build-up. To preserve the oak's natural warmth, occasionally apply a high-quality wood wax or oil suitable for mid-century furniture. Avoid harsh chemical sprays or abrasive detergents.
Dust Removal: Vacuum the woven straps regularly using a soft brush attachment to remove dust and prevent particles from settling into the weave.
Spot Cleaning: In case of spills, blot immediately with a clean white cloth—never rub, as this can push the stain deeper. Clean gently using a solution of lukewarm water and a drop of mild, neutral soap.
Drying & Protection: Avoid bleach or aggressive solvents that could weaken the fibers or alter the white tone. Allow the fabric to air-dry completely, keeping it away from direct heat sources.
