This vintage dining table, designed by Eric Maville, embodies the elegance of 1970s design. It is distinguished by its rectangular top with beveled corners and its robust central pedestal base, offering a sculptural and sophisticated silhouette. Finished in a deep burgundy lacquer, the table is enhanced by a gilt brass trim that delicately highlights the edge of the tabletop. The designer's monogram is discreetly affixed to the base, attesting to its authenticity. The glossy surface reflects the light, adding a luxurious dimension to the overall look. In good general condition, but like any piece with original lacquer that has not undergone extensive restoration, it shows some normal and legitimate signs of wear for its age (fine surface scratches and slight micro-impacts here and there on the tabletop, mainly visible against the light under certain reflections). I am including the six chairs from the same series with the table (they are slightly damaged and may need restoration). It can be disassembled into two parts: the tabletop and the base. Ideal for a contemporary dining room or a Hollywood Regency-inspired interior, this table pairs perfectly with velvet chairs or brass decorative elements. It makes a majestic focal point for elegant entertaining.
