Vintage dining chairs from the Swiss furniture manufacturer Willisau, dating from the 1970s. The design combines a sleek, linear construction with a strikingly high backrest and a warm, inviting feel. A characteristic feature is the gently curved backrest with four vertical wooden slats. This soft curve breaks up the otherwise clean geometry of the frame and gives the chairs an elegant, dynamic silhouette, especially when viewed from the side. The dark wood displays a visible grain and is beautifully contrasted by the light, beige seats. The upholstered seats are covered in a finely textured fabric, adding a softer element to the otherwise entirely wooden design. The chairs' stackability is particularly practical, underscoring the functional nature of the design.
