About this seller
Private sellerProduct description
A vintage floor lamp by the Dutch manufacturer Dijkstra, a characteristic design from the Space Age era. This piece is defined by its striking silhouette with three curved arms, each ending in a mushroom-shaped shade.
The lamp has a white lacquered metal structure, consisting of a stable round base and a central stand from which the three arms elegantly spring. The shades are made of translucent yellow plastic, which provides a warm and diffuse light distribution when the lamp is switched on. This type of lighting was very popular in the 1970s and is a classic example of Dutch Design from that period.
The overall condition of the lamp is consistent with its age and use, with a characteristic patina that emphasizes its vintage character. The original structure and materials have been preserved, contributing to the authenticity of the object.
With its sculptural form and atmospheric lighting, this floor lamp is an excellent addition to a Mid-Century Modern or eclectic interior. It functions both as a functional light source next to a sofa or armchair, and as a decorative design object that adds a touch of retro style to the space.
