This Dijkstra floor lamp is a distinctive design from the Space Age era, produced in the Netherlands. The fixture stands out due to its two adjustable spherical shades, which form an iconic silhouette typical of lighting designs from the seventies.
The lamp features a chrome-plated metal stand and a heavy, round black base for stability. The shades combine brushed aluminum with transparent brown acrylic, ensuring a warm and focused light distribution. The shades are height-adjustable and can rotate, allowing the lamp to serve as both a reading lamp and mood lighting. The fixture is equipped with the original wiring and a floor switch.
