The Dessau Tubular Chair was designed in 1973-1974 by Italian design duo Afra & Tobia Scarpa at B&B Italia. It is a variation on the earlier "Dialogo" chair, but inspired by the Bauhaus tradition of Walter Gropius, with a striking cantilever (floating) structure in chromed tubular work and a seat/back in black plastic or leather
