This vintage Hala Model 13 desk lamp, designed by H. Busquet in 1959 for Hala Zeist, is an iconic piece of Dutch design. The sleek black finish and the distinctive gooseneck make this a timeless and functional object for the workplace.
The lamp is crafted from metal with a black lacquer finish and a flexible chrome arm. With a total height of 46 cm and a shade diameter of 11 cm, this lamp provides focused light, ideal as a reading or desk lamp. The lamp has been rewired with a vintage-style twisted cord and fitted with a new plug, making it ready for immediate use. The base is finished with a new felt layer for stability.
The lamp is in good, functional condition while retaining its authentic character. The original lacquer has been lightly waxed, which enhances the vintage look.
