A strikingly sleek modular wall cabinet of German quality. Black, sleek, sturdy beams interspersed with white shelves. The original owner fully customized this cabinet to his personal needs. For example, he created an "invisible" space behind the yellow aluminum panel to conceal a power strip or extension cord for hi-fi equipment. Here and there, he (unfortunately) made holes to connect cables to other compartments or columns (see the last photo for the most striking). The bottom of each column is fitted with adjustable feet to level the cabinet. The bar cabinet and the large space above it feature a clear glass mirror on one side (behind the hinged door) and a smoked glass mirror on the other (slightly distressed). The aluminum color panels can be repositioned if desired. They are colored on both sides (choice of high-gloss or matte – we used the high-gloss side in the photos). The black aluminum panels are two sliding doors. In short, a very versatile piece of furniture (Hörz Wall Systems) with a sleek appearance. Over time, the plastic veneer/foil has yellowed, but this is not very noticeable. The color-blocked panels and clean black lines immediately bring to mind P. Mondrian or Gerrit Rietveld. The wall unit is in vintage but very usable condition. It has signs of age and wear. The label on the spine is illegible. Hörz produced versatile "Wall Systems" that were used in studies, offices, and living rooms. They were active in the 1950s and 1970s. Height: 241 cm. Width: 376 cm. Depth: 38 cm. Can be fully disassembled. It is currently on display in our warehouse. Viewing and collection is preferred. If the furniture needs to be delivered by courier, we will provide a custom-made step-by-step plan.
