A beautiful, unique sofa for sale! It's the 'Capri' model, designed by renowned Danish designer Johannes Andersen. The sofa was produced in the late 1950s by Trensum Möbelfabrik.
The sofa has a very robust design with large, sturdy armrests. It's also immediately noticeable that the sofa is crafted in a 'boomerang' shape, meaning it curves slightly. The sturdy chrome legs contribute to the robust appearance of the design. The sofa is very large and therefore suitable for four or even five people. The sofa is in good vintage condition and has been partially reupholstered. The original leather has been retained. The backrests and seats have been reupholstered with 100% pure wool fabric from Danish Art Weaving. This gives the sofa a wonderfully soft feel and immediately invites you to sit down. The leather is original, so there are signs of wear. In addition to the upholstery, the webbing and padding have also been replaced. All in all, this is an extremely rare sofa with a very beautiful design.
