🌿💚Vintage floor lamp by Kaiser Leuchten – 1960s/70s
This floor lamp was made by Kaiser Leuchten, a German manufacturer best known for its decorative ceramics and lighting in the 1960s and 1970s. During that period, they were known for combining artisanal ceramics with modern shapes and warm colors.
The lamp is composed of several round ceramic spheres, each with a relief floral pattern in gold and brown tones. This type of decor and use of color is typical of the design of that period: warm, playful, yet tranquil. The glossy finish enhances the depth of the pattern and gives the lamp a luxurious appearance.
The design fits within the mid-century and space-age style, in which round shapes and natural colors were frequently used. The metal stem with two light sources gives the lamp a lightness and creates a beautiful balance between ceramic and metal.
