Product description
For sale:
Danish vintage sideboard with four drawers and two sliding doors, designed by Johannes Andersen. This piece of furniture is a unique and characterful example of high-quality Scandinavian design from the mid-20th century, where elegance, functionality, and artisanal craftsmanship come together.
Johannes Andersen (1903–1991) was an influential Danish furniture designer known for his refined and often slightly organic designs. In his designs, he combined functionality with soft lines and carefully crafted details, giving his work a warm and elegant appearance. Andersen collaborated with various renowned Danish furniture manufacturers, and his designs were exported internationally. To this day, his furniture is appreciated for its high level of finish, timeless character, and durable quality.
This sideboard features four drawers, ideal for neatly storing smaller items, and two sliding doors with generous storage space behind them. The well-thought-out layout creates a calm and balanced whole, while the elegant lines and refined details make this piece of furniture a true eye-catcher. The sideboard is both practical and aesthetically strong, fitting effortlessly into a modern, vintage, or eclectic interior.
The furniture is in very good vintage condition. There is only one scratch on the right side; otherwise, the sideboard is in exceptionally beautiful condition. The furniture has been carefully cleaned and maintained, while the character and quality of the design have remained completely intact.
