About this seller
Private sellerProduct description
This vintage De Sede pouf from the 1970s is an iconic example of Swiss craftsmanship and timeless design. The distinctive patchwork pattern gives this piece of furniture a robust yet refined look that immediately catches the eye. The pouf is fully upholstered in high-quality cognac leather, a material known for its durability and rich texture. The construction consists of carefully stitched leather panels that together form a sturdy and comfortable seating surface. The warm brown hue fits perfectly within the 1970s palette and brings an authentic retro atmosphere to the room. Over the years, the leather has developed a beautiful patina, contributing to the pouf's unique character. The overall condition is good, retaining the original finish and structural integrity you would expect from a De Sede. This versatile piece of furniture comes into its own perfectly in a Mid-Century Modern or eclectic interior. It functions perfectly as an extra seat, footstool, or even as a decorative accent next to a vintage armchair or sofa.
