The RØNNVIK Armchair combines a striking wooden construction with generous black upholstery. Particularly characteristic is the solid frame with its softly rounded transitions: armrests, legs, and the side parts running close to the floor form an almost continuous frame. The black upholstery sits deep within this construction, creating a strong contrast to the warm wood tone. The slightly reclined backrest and wide seat give the armchair a relaxed, lounge-like appearance. From different perspectives, the sculptural quality of the wooden frame is particularly evident. Despite the robust construction, the area below the seat remains open, preventing the armchair from appearing too massive. A characterful vintage armchair between Scandinavian Modern, Mid-Century, and functional design of the 1970s/80s.
